I have many years experience treating children, adolescents and adults of all ages. I have a special interest also in career and relationship issues of women. My main expertise is with psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. I also have many male patients with career and relationship issues. I have expertise in treating anxiety and depression without medication.
I am trained in adult, child and adolescent psychiatry and psychoanalysis. I am also a respected teacher and Clinical Professor of Psychiatry on the Associated Faculty at the Perelman School of Medicine at University of Pennsylvania.
I work by appointment only and do not take direct payment from insurance companies. I like to see patients a minimum of once a week. My main focus in treatment is psychodynamic or insight oriented talk therapy with an emphasis on understanding how and if the past is interfering with present optimal functioning.
