Whether practicing insight-oriented psychotherapy or psychoanalysis, I listen to the way a person tries to solve his or her problems and help them to come to a new understanding based on greater tolerance for what they feel. My medical background helps me to be aware of the complicated interplay between what is physical and what is psychological. I help my patients sort out what we can treat with psychotherapy and when medications may make a difference.
I am a psychiatrist, a psychoanalyst and a psychotherapist practicing in CT and NYC. I work with adults and young adults starting at age 18.
