I’m a board certified psychiatrist who specializes in women’s mental health. This includes emotional and psychological problems during pregnancy, postpartum, perinatal losses, infertility and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. I pursue a residency in OBGYN in Argentina and a residency in Adult Psychiatry and Fellowship in Consultation Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center in The Bronx, NY. I worked and taught at Montefiore Medical Group and Zucker Hillside Hospital were I served as the Physician in Charge of the Perinatal Program.
I treat both women and men. Men can also suffer from perinatal psychiatric symptoms. The services I provide are treatment of mood and anxiety disorders through medication management and psychotherapy that are tailored to your needs. I also provide perinatal psychiatric consultations for women treated by other providers.
