I am a board-certified psychiatrist and provides comprehensive evaluation using an integrated approach to care, including psychotherapy and medications, if indicated. I have extensive clinical experience in anxiety spectrum disorders, depression, OCD, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, ADHD, marital/relationship conflicts, and issues related to self-esteem. I am also an assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at UCLA School of Medicine. In addition, I frequently lecture students on various topics and am considered an expert on the topic of ADHD. I have immediate availability for new clients, including evening hours.
My approach includes the use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address issues of depression and anxiety. I also use a more patient centered approach to care which involves using the individuals strengths to enhance self-esteem. I also provide very practical approaches for the treatment of depression, ADHD and anxiety.
