I am a board certified child and adolescent Clinical Nurse Specialist providing diagnostic psychiatric evaluations, psychotherapy, psychopharmacological interventions, psycho-education, family therapy and couples work. I seek to help individuals understand and cope with their current emotions, stressors and life changes through what is known as the therapist/client connection. This is often over looked. It is a powerful and necessary component to a clients' progress. Now, more than ever I work hard to provide a relatable environment for my clients to feel comfortable, heard and empowered to make changes in their lives.
Currently, part of my practice has shifted to assisting young adults entering into and navigating their college experience during this time. Additionally, I am interested in working with women & single mothers going through difficult transitions in their lives including complications of divorce, anxiety, depression, homeschooling and family conflict.
