I completed my general psychiatry training right here in Austin, and I fell in love with psychotherapy. I like using multiple different types and styles of treatment, and not merely medications. I enjoy working with individuals with Addiction Disorders, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorders, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Depression, Eating Disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Personality Disorders, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and Schizophrenia Disorders. I hope to have a significant number of psychotherapy patients, and I want to eventually facilitate group therapy.
I enjoy the diversity of general psychiatry, and the opportunity it provides for a practitioner to get to know his/her patients. I also enjoy the combination of general medicine and neurology that comes with psychiatry. I have always understood the importance of mental health.
I use both medications and psychotherapy treatment modalities, when warranted. I have interests in Eating Disorders, and working with patients from all phases of life.
