I am not accepting new patients at this time. I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP) specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar illness, women's mental health, and addiction. I am licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I work collaboratively with individuals and their families, and other mental health and medical providers. My goal is to help you customize a plan that enables you to find lasting change. This plan may involve medication, therapy, or a combination of both.
My work is grounded in the theory of self-determination, with strong influences of cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, and humanistic psychology. My theraputic approach is gentle and direct.
I am nationally board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and licensed to practice Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. This licensure includes prescriptive authority. Visits are held by telehealth only.
