Hi! I have been in mental health care for almost 15 years in a variety of settings. The bulk of my experience has been in the high acuity setting of Emergency Psychiatry. I have a passion for empathic care that seeks to understand and help those dealing with not just mental illness, but the stress of life in general. I treat individuals of all ages and mental health concerns such as depression and anxiety. I am also particularly passionate about providing care for psychotic and psychosis related disorders, as well as working with sexual identity and gender identity concerns.

I care about my patients and listen to his or her needs to come up with the best individualized treatment plan. I diagnose and treat all mental health conditions with appropriate medications as needed. I do this in a holistic manner, meaning I treat the patient as a whole rather than a sum of his or her parts. I will run appropriate bloodwork as well as treat mental health conditions in the context of any chronic illness the patient may be suffering. I am here to help.

I treat a broad range of problems, based on years of experience. Often, I combine medication and psychotherapy with good results. I treat acute conditions, such as severe depression and anxiety, to help the patient restore his or her level of functioning. I also treat longer-lasting conditions which might allow one to "get by", but feel as if they are tied in knots.
