I offer Telehealth appointments to all my clients in the comfort of their homes. I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a doctorate degree in Nursing, who is experienced in practicing Psychiatric services in outpatient, inpatient, and tele-psychiatry. I offer weekday appointments from 9am-9pm as well as Saturdays from 9am-2pm.

I am Dr. Veronica Forchu. I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from UMass Global California with specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health Across the Lifespan. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing Ohio. I have experience in case management, serving patients of different age groups in home health, palliative care and hospice, managing anxiety, depression, dementia, psychotic episodes and pain at end-of-life. I bring with me over 10 years of experience working with patients and providing emotional support to their families and loved ones dealing with loss & grief.

Master’s trained from the University of Cincinnati and Touro University; also have degrees from Pacific Lutheran University in Nursing and the University of Oklahoma. I have a background in military medicine, and have served populations that have been diverse and underserved. I worked as a child neurologist and sleep medicine physician before becoming a psychiatrist. Because of that, I provide varied and multiple treatment options, especially for patients with dual diagnoses.
