Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist providing diagnostic evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy for the general adult population. After finishing medical school, I completed my Psychiatric residency in 2016 at Howard University in Washington, DC where I served as chief resident in my senior year. Since then, I have worked in a variety of different settings including inpatient, outpatient, community center and forensics.

I am extremely happy to be a part of the Specialized Therapy Associates team. STA has been in operation since 1994 with a staff of psychologists, psychiatrists, and therapists in Hackensack, Paramus, Ramsey, Short Hills, & Fort Lee. STA provides the full range of psychological services: individual, couples, family & group therapy. We also provide a full range of psychological testing services for all age ranges.STA offers specialized programs which includes but not limited to eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, academic success, child and parenting. Christine Lisa believes in patient-tailored medication management therapy. She believes that truly listening to a patient's concerns and developing a treatment plan together for optimal outcomes is key. She currently sees clients of all ages and works to improve depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and mood disorders.

Dr. Yissell Delvalle is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, Board Certified Addiction Medicine Doctor, who graduated from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School in Newark. She particularly treats patients with addiction, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, PTSD, psychosis and women with post-partum depression.

I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and young adults for the past 30 years. I have specialized expertise in diagnosing and treating Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, ADHD, Autism, and Trauma. I perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, prescribe medication, collaborate with therapists and do consultations with schools. Talking with family is key in my evaluations and treatment. I am a board certified Psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. After completing my medical school education, I achieved a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Arcadia University. I completed my adult psychiatry residency training at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. During my training at AEMC, I was awarded the prestigious national Distinguished Laughlin Fellow Merit Award for professional achievement and scholarship. I completed my Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at the Mount Sinai Health system - St Luke's Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan where I also served as a Chief Fellow.

As a board certified licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner, I have undertaken to help individuals restore their vitality and resume a life of meaning and purpose. Dr. Irene Mazur graduated with honors from the Ternopol Medical School in Ternopol, Ukraine, in 1992. After her move to the US, she completed a Psychiatry Residency program and a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship in in UMDNJ, Piscataway, NJ. Her area of expertise include: autism, aggression, developmental delay, ADHD, depression, and PTSD. In 2023, Dr. Mazur had received well-deserved recognition and was acknowledged as a Top Pinnacle Professional for her contributions to the field of Psychiatry.
