We will perform a thorough diagnostic evaluation, testing as needed, and will partner with you to create a holistic treatment plan that can include medication, therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Ketamine Treatment, nutritional interventions, stress management techniques, and more.

We see you as a person, not an illness. Together we will work with you to optimize your care and work towards remission of your symptoms. We ensure that you'll have time during your appointment to ask questions and make sure that you understand treatment options. We will offer suggestions for care and support what you decide. We will assess genetic and nutritional deficiencies and will add supplements and natural treatments as well as prescription medications as indicated.

Your journey to wellness starts here! I am a state board certified and ANCC credentialed psychiatric family mental health NP. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings with kids, teens and young adults experiencing a variety of mental health issues including mood disorders, behavioral issues, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and thought disorders.

I see children, teens and adults with all types of mental health conditions. I can see patients virtually (in Colorado or Florida) or in my office in Sarasota Florida. Starting in 6/1/24 I will be converting my practice to virtual only. I specialize in ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma. Although carefully chosen medications can quickly achieve much needed relief of anxiety, depression, insomnia and trauma symptoms, a thorough evaluation can also identify many opportunities for improvement without medications. The most effective treatment plan may include work-life balance, nutrition and sleep strategies, addressing, avoiding or adapting to triggers, in addition to multiple psychotherapies. When needed, medications with the lowest side effects, easiest to use, most predictably effective & not addictive are recommended. Ultimately, it is up to each person to decide which strategies they will use to achieve wellness.

I provide early intervention and integrative approaches, such as communication with all providers, schools, and support teams. I design individualized treatment plans for a variety of mental health disorders. I primarily work with children, adolescents, and young adults. I encourage relationships within family systems, fostering opportunity for patients to be heard and to feel known within the context of their story.
