Born and raised in Cuba, Dr. Carmona received his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in GI & Family Medicine at the Havana Medical School, and practiced as a physician from 2002 to 2009. In 2007, Dr. Carmona moved to the Republic of Namibia in Southern Africa, where for two years he provided critical medical services to roughly twenty-five thousand people living in rural villages and isolated areas.

I would say my specialties are depression, anxiety and/or ADHD but I treat all types of psychiatric conditions. We are currently accepting new patients for ADHD Neuropsychological testing. Think you have ADHD? No problem! We offer ADHD Objective Testing that can be used to guide ADHD diagnosis for patients. The testing can also be done at the office and via telehealth. We also offer adult autism assessment and DBT-informed therapy. At Ample Grace Psychiatry, we offer a custom approach for each client! With four years of adult-gerontology psychiatry experience, she specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma in adults 18+. Passionate about providing evidence-based, compassionate care, Helen is dedicated to serving patients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in underserved communities. Helen champions patient empowerment, guiding her patients to take control of their health and emotional wellbeing.

I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist Practicing in New York City. Due to requests, I have started providing tele-psychiatry services in Tennessee. I have really enjoyed learning meeting my patients in the South and learning a new culture and way of life. I have trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family and Marital therapy, as well as Psychiatric Medication Management.
