Having worked in a psychiatric hospital, partial hospitalization program (PHP) and out patient office; I have extensive experience working with adults, children and adolescents to manage depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, autism spectrum and OCD. Prior to graduating as a nurse practitioner, I had 12 years nursing experience working in neurology, psychiatry, hospice and pain management.

She provides psychiatric medication management for adults ages 27-64. She primarily sees patients who may be struggling with depressive, bipolar, anxiety and psychotic disorders. Dr. de Leon is currently not seeing ADHD consultations. She is not taking new patients who are on stimulants or benzodiazepines.

Prior to her time at Zoe, Mrs. Snyder worked in inpatient psychiatry at VCU. At Zoe, Chelsea is passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan. She works with patients experiencing OCD, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders. Mrs. Snyder is also excited to work with peri and postnatal women. She is dedicated to building a therapeutic relationship to advocate for the mental health needs of the community.

My approach to care is to a goal based approach. I partner with my patients, their families and support networks to establish their goals for treatment. From this point, we partner to meet where the patient is and journey together to meet those goals. My philosophy is a patient centered approach that is a true partnership. In treating all ages, from 10 years old through the life span, I use our time together to create a judgement free space.

A New England native, Dr. Nadia grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. Providence being the capital of Rhode Island, is well known for its diversity and inner-city flare. As a kid Dr. Nadia experienced the cons of growing up in an urban neighborhood with barriers. Dr. Nadia was able to take these cons and turn them into pros that enabled her to bring a cultivated awareness of cultural disparities into her practice. Her ability to relate to and understand the "struggle" allows her to establish that rapport and mutual respect from patients of all ages. Her down-to-earth approach is always embraced by her patients.
