Our practice is a medication management practice that provides med management services to children, adolescents and adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, thought disorders and other psychiatric conditions. We are a group of 3 nurse practitioners who specialize in psychiatric treatment, we are caring, compassionate and great listeners.

Dr. Juliana envisions a society free of mental stigma and give everyone the freedom to live without being judged on their mental health struggles. We play our part by creating a judgment-free wellness space where the patients feel more comfortable and supported while they receive care.

I am a licensed psychiatrist, with over 20 years' experience helping people succeed in living healthy and full lives. I received my medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School, and completed residencies in General Psychiatry and in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at St. Vincent's Medical Center, New York City. Certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, I maintain private practices in New York City and Providence, RI. I've trained and supervised clinicians and residents of Brown University Medical School. I am a Psychiatrist with sub-specialty in Addiction/Substance Use Disorders. I work at a Harvard Medical School-affiliated hospital in Boston, MA. My main focuses are the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adult patients (18+), who are suffering from psychiatric disorders (i.e.depression, anxiety, bipolar,..) and substance use disorders (alcoholism, heroin, cocaine, drug use).

Effiem is dual certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner and as such, every client treatment is individualized and holistic at the same time. Her mission is to provide the highest quality care with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and patient -centered care. Effiem has extensive knowledge and experience with medication management to a wide variety of people dealing with mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD.

I specialize in medication management for individuals with mental health issues across the lifespan. Mental health issues I currently treat include but are not limited to mood disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder/manic depressive illness, ADHD, PTSD, panic disorder, adjustment disorder, and stress management.
