Abigail Talley, MD, is board-certified in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Born and raised in San Antonio, Dr. Talley attended Trinity University, where she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. She completed medical school, General Psychiatry residency, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Talley joined the faculty at UT Health before starting her practice. In addition to patient care, she is passionate about mental health education for both patients and medical professionals. I originally attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where I received my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working as a pediatric psychiatric nurse, I completed my Doctorate in Nursing Practice at the University of the Incarnate Word. I am an active member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and the American Nurses Association & Texas Nurses Association.

Dr. Welge completed his Residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, based at Elmhurst Hospital Center in Queens, NY. For most of the past 10 years, Dr. Welge has primarily worked as an Outpatient Psychiatrist in a Community-based Behavioral Health Center in rural Pennsylvania, where he enjoyed building relationships with clients, some of whom have been with him for almost 10 years. Dr. Welge also has a Master's in Physiology, and that background served as a strength, as their medical issues were as important as their psychiatric ones, given the changes in kidney function, thyroid function, etc as one age.
