As a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am equipped to provide comprehensive care for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. My training and experience have prepared me to work with a diverse range of patients, including those from under-served populations. I have a background in military medicine, working my way from being an army medic to supervising the army's busiest emergency department. I have also served in case management for Washington State DSHS, working closely with social workers and caregivers to advocate for the needs of foster children.

I have 15 yeas of combined experience as a Psych NP & therapist. I conduct ADHD/executive function evaluations & Autism screening assessments. I work with all age groups 5 years old and up. I provide accommodation & intervention planning for adults in school or work & for child/adolescents school 504/IEP plans. I do not conduct assessments for SSDI/disability. My services include assessments, medication management, nutrition planning and solution focused behavioral modifications. I firmly believe medication is one element of the solution & holistic, supportive care is essential for overall well-being.

The greatest lesson that I have received in my role as a healthcare professional is that most human suffering is rooted in emotional and cognitive difficulty. I am not accepting new client referrals of adults wanting a new ADHD diagnosis. I am currently welcoming children, teens, and young adults into my office, regardless of race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.
