Children, adolescents, and adults often need medical interventions to improve their level of emotional functioning. This may consist of medical treatment, a referral to a therapist, or a combination of the two.

Each person is a unique individual and there is no single "ideal" client. I believe that the main goal is for the person to learn to love himself/herself. Use of medications is to help balance mood swings or correct low serotonin levels which causes anxiety

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.

After completing medical training at Yale medical school, I began my career in family medicine. Even at that time, I was interested in mental health and addiction. As a physician assistant, I can provide medical care, evaluations, med management including anti-craving medications. So much of our lives are affected by our state mind and a prescription is not always the answer. Sometimes it is the other resources to assist the patient. My objective is to work with the patient to achieve their goals for a healthy lifestyle. I get a wave of excitement when I watch people turn their lives around! Medicine is not a job, it's a passion!

Accepting New Clients. Appointments are typically available within 7 days. We offer Medication Management, Counseling/Psychotherapy, and Neuropsychological Testing online via our Telepsychiatry Services throughout Florida. Our team of experienced mental health professionals includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Certified Physician Assistants, and Licensed Therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare.
