Welcome to my private practice. With over 25 years of diverse experience in the field of psychological health, I have had the privilege of helping patients across all stages of life. My approach to treatment is as unique as the individuals I serve – comprehensive, patient-centered, and holistic. I cater to adults& adolescents (starting age 14) & offer the flexibility of Telehealth (audio/video) consultations or in-person appointments. My services encompass diagnostic evaluations, medication management, adjustment, & genetic testing for psychotropic medications to ensure a personalized and effective treatment plan.

I am an ANCC board-certified Nurse Practitioner who is passionate about delivering innovative mental health care, including psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of adolescents and adults. Our practice combines both medication management and psychotherapy modalities to achieve sustainable and safe outcomes. As many of us know, treatment takes a collaborative and multimodal approach that is unique and individualized based on each person's desired goals and outcomes. I have had a private practice in medication management for 21 years in several locations; am currently licensed in Connecticut and New Jersey, but am able to do telehealth appointments wherever you are located. Patients have found this to be very helpful, as we can connect from your home or work. My experience is in multiple settings: inpatient, outpatient, and crisis intervention. I have also served as a consultant to patients with mental health concerns in a neurology practice and in an HIV clinic. I have held faculty positions at several universities, and currently serve as an associate professor at UPENN's School of Nursing.

Dr. Caitlin Aguiar is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Her mental health care incorporates a holistic approach, while treating clients to facilitate healing and wellness. She incorporates non-pharmaceutical interventions to supplement medication-management including, but not limited to, mindfulness, breathwork, CBT, DBT and supportive therapy in 30min sessions.

Dr. Weiss is a board-certified Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions including: depression and bipolar spectrum disorders; anxiety; stress and adjustment problems; ADD/ADHD; maternal mental health; OCD; and other disorders. He has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, college and graduate students, creative professionals, and the range of working adults. For the past decade, and prior to joining the staff of Talkiatry, Dr. Weiss worked at The New School as the university’s staff psychiatrist.

Dr. Amber Blue is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency at Yale University. She offers medication management in 30-minute follow-up visits informed by her psychotherapy experience. Occasionally she may believe additional therapy would be beneficial and therefore recommend you add a therapist to your care team for the best results.
