I am a board certified psychiatrist and I specialize in various different areas including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, Panic disorder, Insomnia and postpartum depression and anxiety.

I am a psychiatrist who specializes in treating patients who are struggling with mood disorders such as depression and bipolar disorder as well as anxiety. I am especially interested in treatment resistant disorders. I also utilize genetic testing when appropriate to personalize treatment based on an individual's unique ability to process medication. This can improve a patient's response to medications and minimize side effects. Each patient receives a highly individualized treatment plan, and I ensure that contributing factors are addressed in order to position patients to achieve the highest level of success.

I know your time is valuable. Initial consultative evaluation appointments are available for scheduling WITHIN 1-2 WEEKS, unless I am not accepting new patients at that time. I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist with Fellowships in Psychoanalysis and Mindfulness based treatments. I provide individualized treatment for those dealing with concerns about mood, anxiety, or struggles in one or more areas of life. While I offer short sessions of psychiatric care, my area of expertise is long sessions integrating treatments such as psychoanalysis talk therapy, exercise, mindfulness, and medications when indicated.

Dr. Reena Kumar, MD is a Child, Adolescent, and Adult Nutritional Psychiatrist. Dr Kumar earned her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry degree from Dell Medical School at The University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Kumar is very passionate about working with children and their families and making a difference in their lives. Her patients love her for her calm demeanor, indomitable spirit, and genuine love & care she brings into her their lives. She has also received accolades for family therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion work. She also provides experiential group sessions for mindfulness meditation and lifestyle and dietary changes.

I specialize in helping individuals seeking to make significant changes in their sense of themselves, their relationships, and their overall level of functioning through the relationship with me. Linnea Johnson MSN, PMHNP-BC has over 12 years experience in behavioral health. She obtained her Bachelors in Nursing from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. She later attended the University of Missouri-Kansas City to complete her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner degree and is Board Certified to treat patients throughout the lifespan. She became passionate about child and adolescent behavioral health while working with at risk youth in the foster care system in Kansas City, Missouri.
