I’m an Psychiatrist with over 40 years experience in the Mental Health and Behavioral Health industry. I am Board Certified ABPN since 1985. I’m experience to diagnose and prescribe medication for patients with mental health issues. I have been working for Ascend Behavioral Health Services in Psychiatry since July of 2020. We specialize in Addiction/Substance Abuse, Medication Management to treat psychiatric issues like ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Psychosis, etc. We treat Children, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and Therapy.

Dr. Varshney is Board Certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Varshney was born and raised in Sikkim, India. She graduated from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, where she obtained her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree. Dr. Varshney completed her residency in psychiatry at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine/ Elmhurst Hospital Center, in New York City. She then went on to complete a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Worcester, Massachusetts, Department of Law and Psychiatry.

The good news is that I have specialized in depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder which I am happy to help with the healing journey for both individuals and families.

Jerika Perry is a psychiatric nurse practitioner with more than seven (7) years of medical expertise. She provides mental health services through initial psychiatric evaluation, follow-up appointments, individual therapy, in-person or virtual group therapy, and support groups. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, psychotic disorders, eating disorders, and substance abuse treatment.

I am an experienced, board certified psychiatrist. I earned my medical degree in 1995 and completed a Residency in adult psychiatry at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida. I then did a 2 year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry I worked as an assistant professor at Jackson Memorial Hospital from 2002-2005. I was then voluntary faculty at the University of Miami, Department of Psychiatry. I have vast experience treating eating disorders, ADHD, and autism, via both medication and/or therapy. I am currently residing in both Georgia and Florida, and fluent in Spanish. I offer telemedicine services.

I am a Johns-Hopkins trained, award-winning Harvard psychiatrist, affiliated with McLean and Mass General Brigham, quadruple board certified in Addiction Medicine, Obesity Medicine, Adult Psychiatry, and Child Psychiatry. I am a dedicated board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to providing high-quality mental health care to adults aged 18 to 75. With extensive experience and a strong educational background, I offer holistic care that is integrative and patient-centered. My expertise includes treating Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar and substance use Disorders. I also have a profound interest in supporting women’s mental health during perimenopausal phase, recognizing the unique complexities during this life stage.

I hold a post-master Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certificate from the University of Cincinnati, OH. I also received my Master of Science in Nursing Education from Walden University and my Bachelor in Nursing from Adventist University of Health Sciences. I am fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
