WALK IN CLINIC: One of our regions biggest issues with mental health is the absence of a psychiatrist when a patient decides to see one. No more 1-2 month waits for appointments. By having a walk-in clinic available, we are here when you most need us! MISSION STATEMENT : To provide professional and compassionate evaluation and continuing care to adults, children and families with psychiatric issues in a confidential and caring environment. To achieve this we incorporate both physician and nurse practitioners in our practice who are Board Certified Psychiatrically specialized providers who essentially can provide medications and psychotherapy.

Allen family Healthcare provides one on one counseling, Opioid addiction therapy, Medical Services for DM, HTN, Physicals (Sports, DOT, Work, & Student), as well as family therapy. The psychiatric and medical team uses a variety of approaches to help guide and treat patients. In addition, they can evaluate and assess patients and determine when it is medically necessary to prescribe medication. “My overall goal for my patients is to help them to develop a new normal, to live life to the fullest, and help them find things that make them happy. It’s very important to seize the day and live that day to the fullest,” says Allen.

I am board certified in Child, Adolescent & Adult Psychiatry. I see children, adolescents, teenagers, and adults in my office in Dunwoody and am accepting new patients. I specialize in the use of medications and other holistic approaches to treat mental health conditions. I am also the Medical Director of Southern Live Oak Wellness. Treating clients with respect, integrity and compassion are my priorities. When managing medications, I incorporate the most current and best evidence based practices.

At Avant Interventional Psychiatry we have a passion for clear minds and better lives. We specialize in TMS Therapy for Treatment Resistant Depression. We also specialize in Addiction and Suboxone Therapy. Our interdisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, therapists, and medical assistant staff are here to serve all of your psychiatric needs. We see children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients who are dealing with any psychiatric conditions or behavioral disorders. We currently have three (3) office locations in Georgia: Austell, Fayetteville, and Marietta.

Dr. Chasity J. Carswell is a double board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of experience. She is the founder and owner of Collaborating Minds LLC. Dr. Chasity received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2014. She then went on to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in August 2019. Dr. Chasity has worked in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient crisis stabilization units, substance abuse detoxification and psychiatric consult liaison.
