Hello, I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in Louisville, Kentucky. I work with patients with Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Bipolar and Mood Spectrum, Schizophrenia, PTSD, Eating Disorders, and Panic Disorders. I also welcome anyone in the LGBTQ community.

At Kentucky Mental Health Care, we provide psychiatric services such as medication management and medically assisted treatment (Suboxone and more), IOP, and TRP to both Medicaid and commercial insurance clients. The majority of our patients struggle with one or more of the following issues: ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, depression, substance abuse disorder, addiction, and/or personality disorder.

Dr Laurie Ballew is a Board Certified Psychiatrist practicing Holistic Psychiatry in Paducah Kentucky. She is also Board Certified in Addiction Medicine. Dr Ballew focuses on the cognitive, emotional, physical , and spiritual well being of her clients. Each client will have an individualized treatment plan. She sees individuals who may have mood disorders, ADHD, addiction issues or early to mid stage Alzheimer’s or other dementias. The age range of Dr Ballew’s practice is 18 and above.
