The stigma around mental illness and the quality of treatment that mentally ill individuals receive have inspired me to become a Nurse in Mental Health. I have felt the necessity to stand up and do what is right as my contribution to fix this urgent issue. In our society, physical or medical diseases provoke empathy, but we demonstrate disdain for people impacted by mental conditions.

I'm an expert in treating individuals age 12+ who are struggling with symptoms such as anxiety, depression trauma, and ADHD. I've worked in many settings over the past 15 years including schools, nursing homes, and a Federally Qualified Health Center. I am queer-identified and specialize in the trans/gender-diverse community. I have particular experience working with autistic individuals.
