Our team consists of psychiatrists and licensed therapists who are experienced in treating adolescents, teens and adults with various neurological and behavioral conditions. Psychotherapy provided in my office is mandatory, along with medication if required. We are an Intensive Outpatient Facility where we do accept insurance only when psychotherapy is agreed upon for teens and adults. Teens, adults and their families are welcome to participate in our successful treatment model.

I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, working with individuals ranging from young adults through the lifespan. My clinical approach to Psychopharmacology is solution focused and evidence based. I allow for 30-minute follow up sessions, in order to best meet the needs of my clients and offer a personalized and integrated approach to Psychiatry. I incorporate the strengths of western medicine as well as eastern philosophies, including contemplative psychology. In order to provide the highest level of patient care, our work together will extend beyond medication, allowing for holistic and co-created treatment planning.

Trained at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania, I have been in the clinical practice of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology in the Philadelphia area for over forty years, and provide crisis-intervention, consultation and short- and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in the treatment of psychosomatic and eating disorders, depression and suicidal behavior, anxiety, psychosis, sexual and physical abuse, and addictions, among other problems, and also provide consultation and ongoing clinical supervision for mental health professionals of all disciplines.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Cornell and Columbia trained, Dr. Lopez does not believe in one-size-fits-all treatments. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the national Child and Adolescent Psychiatry society (AACAP) and believes in down-to-earth approaches that really make sense. Dr. Lopez is also an adult psychotherapist with years of training in the most in-depth psychotherapies. He provides interventions that have clear results. A Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), he has taught at Cornell and Columbia specialized programs for more than 15 years. He now brings to Philadelphia the latest knowledge to help kids, parents, and adult patients.

Dr. Faith Pettyjohn is a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, with a Doctorate in nursing practice (DNP) from Rutgers University. Faith specializes in many psychiatric conditions, including but not limited to the treatment of Substance Use Disorders, Mood Disorders, Anxiety, PTSD, Psychosis and more. She is licensed and providing services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania by Telemedicine.

I am a family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with experience in pediatrics, hospice, family practice, primary care, infectious disease, and LGBTQIA+ healthcare. I am bilingual in Spanish and pride myself on providing culturally competent care to my patients. I am passionate about destigmatizing mental healthcare and providing equitable care to the best of my ability to my patients I have experience working with patients across the lifespan with the most focus on. patients in their late teens to 60s. I also have particular interest in patients who identify as being part of a marginalized community.
