I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner serving clients in Nashville and the surrounding rural areas. I specialize in helping clients manage depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, insomnia, PTSD, substance abuse, and bipolar disorder with a combination of medication and therapy. I enjoy thoroughly educating clients, their families and caregivers about treatment options and working collaboratively to make sure clients have the information they need to make the best decisions for their care. I also adopt a health at every size approach in my practice and encourage seeing the good and strength in all bodies and all beings.

As a provider who is neurodivergent, queer, and Black, I know I provide a unique perspective when it comes to mental health and wellbeing. I have been in private practice for over 30 years and my best source of referrals are satisfied clients. I work with individuals experiencing all aspects of trauma, grief, bereavement concerns and assist them into recovery. I use a variety of approaches in my therapy with the core being cognitive psychotherapy. I am experienced in marital therapy and assisting individuals to meet their goals. I also have much experience assisting individuals with both depression and anxiety finding healthy coping mechanisms so they can be at their optimum level of functioning. I strive to see clients on a regular basis.

I'm a firm believer that our experiences make us who we are, however, they do not define us. We all have individual and unique paths to walk on this earth, and sometimes that means taking the road less traveled. I, for one have walked many a paths that have not yet been explored, and I would love the opportunity to walk along side you as you choose to move toward healing and wholeness. I utilize an integrative approach, collaborating with therapists and integration coaches to provide a holistic experience.
