Dr. Wall has 25 years of experience with the military, VA, and civilian care in inpatient, outpatient, deployed, and humanitarian settings. She also has experience in academia as director of two psychiatric nursing programs at Duke and USUHS and as faculty at the University of New Hampshire and Rosalind Franklin University. She has also served as a residency director at the Durham VA Medical Center. Her research and publications are focused on PTSD, TBI, sleep, and simulation/implicit bias in academic settings.

I am currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, Johns Hopkins University, School of Medicine. I am also the Director of Behavioral Neurology & Neuropsychiatry Fellowship program at Hopkins. In April 2013 I was inducted into the Miller Coulson Academy of Clinical Excellence. This honor is given to the physicians who are "committed to excellence in patient care".
