I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have a master's degree in psychiatric nursing specializing in mental and behavioral health medicine. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders

As a psychiatric medication prescriber, I work with children, teens, and adults. I see all psychiatric complaints, including depression, anxiety, panic, ADHD, bipolar, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, and psychosis. I focus on listening to the patient, thorough care, and helping the patient to live the best life they can live. As a certified nurse midwife, I remain committed to providing high quality mental health care to pregnant, post-partum and breastfeeding moms. I do not prescribe ongoing benzodiazepines for anxiety or sleep.

As a board certified Psychiatric Mental health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC), I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions for children and adults. While proficient in all mental, emotional challenges, my specialties include anxiety, stress management, depression, OCD, PTSD, insomnia, and ADHD treatment. Additionally, I am also a Family Nurse Practitioner and Chiropractor, which allows me to see patients with mold illness, weight loss, hypothyroid, auto-immunity, and other metabolic complaints. Alyssa (she/her) is an ANCC-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and a Texas transplant who is now joyfully residing here in the lovely upper left U.S. She has an master's degree in nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center and has over 10 years of experience in the healthcare field. Alyssa works primarily with child, adolescent, and young adult patients of all genders and sexualities, and has experience treating depression, bipolar disorder, ADD/ADHD, sleep disorders, anxiety disorders, panic disorder, PTSD, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) and numerous other conditions.

I am Dr. Veronica Forchu. I earned my Doctorate of Nursing Practice from UMass Global California with specialty in Psychiatry and Mental Health Across the Lifespan. I also earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain College of Nursing Ohio. I have experience in case management, serving patients of different age groups in home health, palliative care and hospice, managing anxiety, depression, dementia, psychotic episodes and pain at end-of-life. I bring with me over 10 years of experience working with patients and providing emotional support to their families and loved ones dealing with loss & grief.

I worked as a child neurologist and sleep medicine physician before becoming a psychiatrist. Because of that, I provide varied and multiple treatment options, especially for patients with dual diagnoses. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient and residential and believe in a team approach to care. I am a former lecturer at NYU Child Study Center and headed a treatment team for children and adolescents with Autism and other complex neurodevelopmental disorders. I enjoy working with adolescents, college age and older adults and will engage with family as well in an effort to provide the greatest support to clients.
