Follow up medication management appointments are also provided. Supportive, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapy approaches are incorporated on a case by case basis.

Over the past 14 years, I’ve learned that many people could benefit by seeing a mental health specialist but don’t necessarily want or need to engage in a long-term commitment. Maybe they just need anxiety medication when they give a speech, take a test, or get on a plane. Maybe they’ve moved, or their doctor retired and need refills while they find a new provider. Or maybe they want a 2nd opinion about their current regimen, aren’t sure if they need therapy, or just want to run a problem by someone for advice. To adress these kinds of needs, I'm devoting my practice to people who need short-term solutions to short-term problems.

Board certified Columbia trained psychiatrist (NY and NJ licensed) specializing in Women's Reproductive Health, Psychoanalysis, Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology. My Ph.D. is in English Literature, providing an additional perspective that many find enhances the treatment process, which I view largely as integrative (between medicine and the humanities, mind and body, and eastern and western perspectives).

Jieun Jung is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, with extensive experience in medication management and counseling. As part of her education, she studied at Ewha Womans University (Seoul, South Korea) and NYU, and she is fluent in English and Korean. She has worked with various populations, seeing patients at pediatric, adult, and geriatric psychiatric inpatient units, nursing homes, and community outpatient clinics.

I'm an MD sex and relationship therapist in Manhattan, Associate Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, a frequent guest on national media, and the author of the new book "Love Worth Making: How to Have Ridiculously Great Sex in a Long-Lasting Relationship" (St Martin's Press, 2018). Victor McGregor, PMHNP-BC, Ph.D., has an extensive career in both psychology and psychiatry. He earned his Ph.D. in Depth Psychology from Union Institute and University, and his PMHNP from Columbia University, Advanced Post Master Psychiatric Nurse Training Program, and his Masters in Psychiatric Nursing from the University Pennsylvania. Dr. McGregor is motivated by the diverse complexities of the human mind, and explores the underlying biological, psychological, social, developmental, and even metaphysical elements of holistic health.
