I am an experienced therapist and have a lot of skills working with people that confront challenges in their lives. I have worked with both adolescents and adults as well as older adults and there is nothing better for me as a clinician to see people overcome their challenges and return to a higher quality of life, connected to their families and support networks. I have experience working with people from all walks of life and circumstances.
I most commonly use a strengths based perspective with CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Acceptance and Commitment therapy. Each patient I work with is an individual and has particular needs. My first goal for all patients is to understand what they are experiencing and what they want to change.
I believe that all people are capable of living a full and connected life regardless of past experiences and I hope to be able to join them on their journey to a better outcome.
