Are you wondering why you're still single? Are you attracted to men or women who are not available? And lack chemistry with those who are? You seem to be successful in your work-life but not in your love-life? Is this an ongoing issue? If you've answered "yes" to most of these questions, I may be able to help. Our past (for example, our relationship with our parents, our role in the family, our experience of trauma, etc.) may have something to do with whom we find ourselves attracted to. And so it’s less about the person you’re attracted to and more about your past.
I will help you unpack and understand why this is happening and I will actively work with you to develop skills to change. I have been doing this work for over 15 years. I enjoy working with a very wide range of patients and issues. Some of my areas of specialties include: relationships (repeated patterns that you want to break), loss (grief), and trauma.
I am an integrative therapist, which means that I utilize various theories and techniques depending on the specific needs of the person I'm treating. From a very young age, women are taught that their womanhood is intrinsically tied to getting married and having kids.
