Starting therapy can feel overwhelming and daunting, but it does not have to be. I am a warm and welcoming therapist with a skill for putting people at ease. Together, we will work at your pace and comfort level to build relief, well-being, and self-compassion. In therapy, we will explore your experiences in a safe and non-judgmental environment to help deepen your understanding, unburden past traumas and build a trusting relationship with your authentic self.
I work with people experiencing many different challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, addictions, life transitions, and/or relationship issues. Perhaps you know exactly what’s brought you here. Or, sometimes daily life becomes overwhelming and we struggle to understand exactly what shifted and why we no longer feel able to cope.
Facing these issues alone can feel like a maze with no way out. I will support you to find the path that feels best for you. My approach integrates several therapeutic models including EMDR (a specialized trauma treatment), CBT, DBT, and Mindfulness.
