I am a registered psychologist working in Edmonton. I work primarily with individual adults and couples, but I have experience with children, and families as well. I have over 6 years experience working with complex clients with intricate problems and I have provided mentorship and supervision to student therapists. My main areas of focus are relationships, anxiety, depression, and trauma, as well as men & women's issues, which covers a wide variety of topics, such as, but not limited to: sexual abuse & trauma, sexual identity & orientation, intimacy issues, infidelity, pornography addiction and sexual disorders.
I employ a narrative and person centered approach. I believe each person is an expert in their own life and effective therapy must be tailored to match specific client needs. I seek to provide guidance for clients to better understand themselves in a collaborative manner centred around each individual.
I offer a brief consultation where clients can touch base with me on areas of concern or inquiry and see if we might be a fit for one another. I think it is important to connect before sessions in order to begin with a sense of comfort and awareness. If we are not a fit for each other, I will do my best to offer potential referral options.
