Each of us has a unique story to tell. That story captures our formative experiences and originated early on, when we were the most vulnerable. To our detriment, many of us have learned to bottle it up as this “bottleneck” hardly leaves us feeling secure within ourselves or fully seen by others. At some juncture, you may have rightfully tried speaking your truth to someone you considered "safe.” But, instead of receiving empathy and compassion, you were ignored, belittled, pitied. Ultimately, the feeling of being heard, understood and accepted is crucial for overall wellbeing. It paves the way for a life full of meaning and purpose.
My integrative approach enables clients to tell their most difficult stories and feel empowered through this process. It draws strategically from mindfulness, CBT, somatic practices, humanistic and Buddhist psychologies, internal family systems, and attachment theory. I skillfully challenge clients against giving up, to strive for their ideal futures.
