Entering into a counselling relationship can be frightening and feel like you are losing control. My service is offered to assist you to regain your footing and to exercise your authority in making decisions, to finding a direction that is healthy, happy, safe and secure, and above all else meaningful. The service focuses on hearing your perspective of what is troubling and to engage people in a change process. People usually want better and to have less guilt and shame and to feel confident, competent and to be seen as equals in their relationships. I believe I can help create the space to safety enter into these discussions.
I focus on family dynamic issues and topics such as relationship expectations, domestic conflict, marital discord, parenting challenges and issues often before the court. I have 22 years of child welfare experience and a broad range of clinical skills to offer my clients. Together we can develop new expectations and healthy patterns in your relationships.
Calling is the first step in developing a partnership that allows you to access help and information. I offer a holistic approach that's solution focused and celebrates resilience and family strengths that have been used in the past.
