As mothers, wives, sisters and coworkers tend to put ourselves last. But we cannot pour from an empty vessel. I am committed to working with women's mental health and wellness encouraging self care, balance. I have worked in the health, education and settlement areas of social work over the past 15 years. I particularly enjoy working with women of all ages. I bring myself wholly into my practice as well as warmth and empathy. I understand that therapy may be scary and make it part of my mission to demystify to whole concept of mental health and wellness.
I work from a CBT, DBT and expressive arts perspective grounded in Trauma Informed Care. I believe that expressing self in various arts forms is therapeutic. There is no one size fits all every client is different and tailoring therapy is essential. I particularly enjoy walk and talk so meeting at your closest park and using nature as a therapeutic tool.
