I support adults struggling with PTSD and complex trauma. Whether there was an exact moment things changed, or whether you’re dealing with the long-term effects of ongoing pervasive events, trauma can be confusing, isolating, fragmented, and takes its toll. My aim is to help clients through their transition towards understanding, clarity, self-acceptance, and growth without the fear of judgment. Using an integrative trauma-informed approach I have additional training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
As a former police officer and registered nurse in emergency psychiatry, I have both lived and professional experience in recovery from chronic workplace trauma exposure, understand unique challenges faced in these high-stress roles, awareness of first responder culture, and understand the sometimes painful family legacies of first responders.
I provide an individualized approach adapted based on each individual’s unique needs. My therapeutic style is easy going and collaborative. I offer a free initial 10-15 minute consultation call. Text or email to book a free consultation, or book online through my website.
