Marty Lampkin (she/her) is a compassionate and dedicated counsellor, clinical social worker, Professor and social justice advocate who grounds her practice in an Anti-oppression, Anti-colonial and decolonizing methods. I firmly believes that interlocking systems of oppression ingrained in our society contribute to personal life challenges children, youth and adults experience. As a counsellor I work to explore these intersections through a holistic perspective to help clients recognize their strength and resilience to reach their personal goals.
My unique specialization includes working with Adults living with Developmental Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome and Dual Diagnosis by provided adapted counselling methods. My clinical work is also dedicated to working with African, Caribbean, Black & racialized peoples impacted by systemic forms of oppression.
