Healing our own wounds also helps us develop the capacity to be present for both ourselves and others. Through my own healing journey I have learned that health is not just an individual state, but a collective and social dynamic. I believe that well being is a holistic pursuit, which involves integration of mind, body, and spirit.

From 2001-2013, I worked as a RN in mental health care, acute care, and palliative care. I have a Masters of Social Work, and my research focus was on the impacts of racism on frontline workers. I am also a certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and have completed advanced levels of training in CRM.
