Samantha works with a variety of clients including individuals who feel stuck or overwhelmed in their lives. She helps them develop healthier ways of experiencing and coping with emotions. The clients she serves often have difficulties in effectively setting boundaries and communicating in their relationships. Many have experienced past childhood neglect/abuse or family of origin issues. They often want to explore and resolve their past issues in order to move forward in their lives. Samantha enjoys working with individuals that have a desire to increase their awareness and who want to explore their unconscious selves.
Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Victoria and a Master of Arts degree in counselling psychology from Yorkville University. Samantha uses an eclectic approach to counselling and draws from many different therapies in order to best serve each client's needs.
Samantha offers counselling sessions in an office setting but is also able to take these sessions outside into the natural world. More information about this service is available on her website.
