Being human is such a messy, complicated, and confusing thing, and we’re not really given any formal guidance on how to deal with emotional and psychological suffering. Pop psychology tries to convince us that positive thinking alone will be enough, or that the answers can be found in the latest trending self-help book, or that we can exercise our way to feeling good all of the time. As a therapist who works with a range of issues including anxiety, OCD, recovery from religious trauma, and chronic stress and burnout, I know that things are rarely that simple. I also know, from personal experience, that good therapy can help.

Drawing on my training in ACT, ERP, EMDR, and parts work, we'll work together to help you get out of the negative patterns that keep you stuck, rediscover what lights you up on the inside, and recover from past pain. My goal is to help you shift from coping with life to genuinely and fully living it, even on the really tough days.

Change is notoriously hard and rarely linear, but that's okay, because you're a human being - not a project.
