I'm Emily Popoff, the founder of Talking Helps Heal, a dedicated group counselling practice comprised of eight compassionate and skilled therapists. We proudly serve adults, youth, couples, and families in our Cranbrook and Kimberley offices, as well as online for clients anywhere in British Columbia. Our practice believes in the transformative power of empathetic listening, validation, and collaborative goal-setting. Our therapists provide gentle yet effective challenges to help you gain insights and take meaningful steps toward personal growth and symptom reduction. Our commitment is to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Through empathetic listening, validation, setting goals together, and some gentle challenging from your therapist, you may start to feel more like you. Our team is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including: EMDR, CBT, DBT, IFS, minfulness-based approaches, and somatic approaches. If you are unsure what any of these mean, we are here to help!
Do you struggle with anxiety, depression, grief, or a challenging relationship that affects your day-to-day life, relationships, or ability to work? Do you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, frustrated, or lost by the demands of living up to someone else’s standards, just getting through the day, or feeling like there’s no light? Book a free consult today!
