In my counselling approach, my focus is establishing trusting relationships with my clients. I offer accessible and personalized counseling sessions for adults, children, youth, caregivers, and families, available both in person and online from the convenience of your home. I work at a pediatrics clinic and a non-profit agency, where my focus is on providing support for children, youth, and parents. Prior to embracing my role as a clinical counsellor, I served as an office manager at Ministry of Children and Development, an experience that inspired me to pursue a more active role in supporting clients.
Talking about our struggles may lead us to feel vulnerable, but it is through these conversations that we can redirect our steps.
I prefer an eclectic approach, integrating modalities from narrative therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Somatic and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).
