I am a board certified psychiatrist who provides a holistic approach in the treatment of mental challenges and conditions. I specialize in children and adolescents but also works with adults in providing psychotherapy, medication management, consulting, and alternative treatments when applicable. In addition, I also provide ADHD testing (adults MUST have proper documentation before medication is provided for ADHD). I develop a comprehensive and thorough treatment plan that most importantly is designed to educate my patients on mental wellness.
Extensive training has allowed me to become highly skilled in the diagnoses and treatment of an array of mental illnesses and challenges. I have practiced in multiple healthcare settings, such as hospitals, clinics, schools, municipal courts, state and community agencies, as well as my private practice.
I completed my clinical training fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Harvard's Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, MA. I received my residency clinical training in Adult Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX and received my MD Degree from Meharry Medical College,Nashville,TN.
