I am board certified in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry. I practiced and was board certified in Internal Medicine prior to training in psychiatry. My practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of children, adolescents and adults who deal with problems including all types of anxiety and mood disorders, ADHD and other behavior or emotional problems. I see patients with autism and other pervasive developmental disorders. These and other mental health problems affect the quality of life and healthy development of individuals.
Treatment involves medication management and/or psychotherapy tailored to individual needs. Therapy approaches include CBT, psychodynamic, interpersonal or play and outside referral to other therapists as indicated. Your input into the type and direction of treatment is an essential part of a successful outcome.
