During the 50+ years I have been serving the community as a nurse and mental health therapist I have learned that you who come to me for help have your own answers locked inside. My approach to therapy is humanistic with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy, communication skills, and insight oriented therapy. I have used Emotional Freedom Techniques in the treatment of PTSD with positive results. I have an understanding of psychopharmacology and can help you monitor the efficacy of your medication regime..
In addition to my love of working with people, I have a passion for flying. I volunteer my time and flying skills to Compassion Airlift, a charitable flying organization transporting patients and their families to receive specialized medical care. I live with my husband and dogs in Warrenton, VA.
