There is no one way to treat a patient. Each person is unique and I strive to arrive at an individual treatment plan that meets each person's needs. I do not have any particular philosophy about the "best way" to treat patients. My approach is eclectic and is based on education, experience and ongoing academic work. In addition to treating patients, I am responsible for helping to train medical students and psychiatry residents at three medical schools where I am a consulting faculty member.
