Welcome! I am committed to comprehensive mental health care. I work collaboratively with each individual to customized the goals and interventions of those I serve. I am ready to devote my time, training, and attention to optimize your plan. As a psychiatrist, I use a combination of lifestyle changes, medications, and therapies for treatment and often collaborate with outside providers. I began my post-graduate education at Occidental College, where I was honored Phi Beta Kappa with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychobiology. I then moved on to earn my Doctorate of Medicine from Harvard Medical School.
After graduating Harvard in 1999, I pursued training in adult psychiatry and served as chief resident at UCLA's Neuropsychiatric Institute. I became board certified in adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2004. After my residency, I certified in Psychodynamic Therapy in Los Angeles.
I previously served as the Medical Director of Integrative Behavioral Health at Integral Care as well as the president of the Austin Psychiatric Society where I served for several years. After rigorous study, I became a diplomate of the ABPS in integrative medicine. I now see adults in private practice.
