We can provide an appointment within a week. Our center is focused on the early identification and treatment of major mental illnesses. We practice evidence based medicine and strive to minimize the use of multiple medications. We also conduct clinical research trials for multiple mental health conditions. We do not usually prescribe controlled substances that have addiction potential such as Xanax and Adderall.
Dr. Raj has focused interest in severe mental illness but will remain invested in all mental health problems. He has spent most of his career in academic medicine and continue to do research. If patients feel research is valuable they will be informed of new studies that might match their illness.
We believe in early and aggressive treatment which helps reduce long term suffering for the patients, and appreciate that each person is an individual with their own specific needs for care. We can offer both medication management and therapy so that we provide more comprehensive services to our patients.
