My practice offers supportive and insight-oriented psychotherapy, either alone or together with medications. As a medical doctor, I never prescribe medications until I've made a thorough and detailed assessment of the person under my care. I keep a close watch on how medications affect overall well-being. I am Board-certified in Psychiatry.

I specialize in the treatment of most common psychiatric conditions, including general anxiety disorder; social anxiety disorder; eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating; obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD); post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); major depressive disorder; postpartum depression; bipolar disorder and attention deficit disorder.

My four-year residency in Psychiatry was at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington DC, where I was privileged to be part of a program that placed equal emphasis on psychotherapy and psychopharmacology.
