I treat patients with a variety of mental health issues, such as Mood Disorders, including Depression and Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Eating Disorders, OCD, PTSD, and ADHD. I like to work at problems from various angles, which often includes working with patients to assess and treat their physical, emotional, spiritual, and social issues.
I believe it is important to ensure patients have care for their physical needs, including regular visits with a primary care physician, a nutritionist, or other medical specialist. Likewise, if a patient is struggling spiritually or emotionally, I listen to their concerns and work with them to find solutions.
My philosophy involves listening to patients, meeting patients where they are, and setting goals with patients. I work along with them to develop a treatment plan, so the patient feels that they will be able to adhere to the plan they created and ultimately achieve their goals.
